Reporting to the Senior Manager for Academic Affairs, the Academic Affairs Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring the successful delivery of NYU London’s academic programme. This position involves close collaboration with faculty and staff to coordinate academic class preparation and administration. Additionally, the Coordinator oversees the Moses Center academic accommodations for NYU London and manages attendance monitoring processes.

Key Responsibilities
Academic Affairs Support (50%):

  • Assist in the creation of academic timetables in coordination with senior academic staff.
  • Enter timetable details into Albert/CLSS systems for student registration each semester.
  • Organize and produce class, final exam, and Moses Center exam timetables for each semester.

Class and Faculty Support (25%):

  • Serve as the primary contact for faculty academic-related inquiries, providing advice on academic policies and procedures.
  • Coordinate course materials, including course texts, coursepacks, textbook orders, and student book sales.
  • Assist faculty in implementing Moses Center accommodations, such as exam adjustments.

Student Support Duties (25%):

  • Provide guidance to students regarding academic administrative policies, such as Add-Drop and Pass/Fail processes, and liaise with New York’s Office for Global Programs when needed.
  • Support students with visa-related policies during orientation and ensure accurate attendance monitoring in line with UKVI policies.
