This position requires a commitment of 36 hours weekly during the 39 weeks of the academic year that coincide with term times.

We are in search of a highly organized, adaptable, and self-motivated individual who has prior experience working with speakers of other languages (ESOL). The successful candidate will offer extensive administrative support to our ESOL team.

Key responsibilities include a broad spectrum of administrative tasks such as generating correspondence and reports, managing diaries, and maintaining effective communication with students, staff, and students’ parents or guardians. Additionally, the role involves enhancing student attendance by promptly addressing and resolving attendance issues, timeliness, and academic progression. The role includes engaging with students who are at risk of falling behind, both in-person and via phone, as well as tracking and updating student records.

Applicants should have at least two years of administrative experience, ideally within the educational sector. Candidates must possess superb customer service skills, interpersonal and communication abilities, and be proficient with Microsoft Office software and other IT systems or databases. Adept keyboard skills are necessary for maintaining efficiency and accuracy in data entry. Experience with individuals from underprivileged backgrounds, particularly looked-after children and ESOL learners, is highly valued. We are looking for someone who thrives in collaborative environments, yet can independently navigate a dynamic workplace.
