Position: Assessment Hub Manager
Salary: £44,913 – £47,277 per annum
Contract Type: Fixed term until July 31, 2025
Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Role Overview:
The Assessment Hub Manager is a crucial role responsible for implementing a leading UK Government outward mobility program. This initiative will allow tens of thousands of UK students from schools, colleges, and universities to explore international study and work experiences.
You will manage the operational aspects of assessing grant funding applications and handling appeals from unsuccessful candidates. Acting as the main contact for four Senior Assessors, you will provide strategic and day-to-day leadership to ensure assessments and appeals are delivered successfully, in compliance, and on time, adhering to contract KPI requirements.
You will collaborate with the Head of the Programme to develop and implement policies, processes, and systems to meet funders’ expectations and lead initiatives such as monitoring, evaluation, and financial management. Advocating for the Programme both internally and externally is another key responsibility.

Team Collaboration:
Work closely with two other team members and support four Senior Assessors and approximately 30 Grant Assessors.
Candidate Profile:
- Degree educated or equivalent experience
- Experienced in managing and empowering teams, including staff development and performance management
- Proven track record in effectively managing business and administrative teams
- Skilled in developing and implementing strategies for service improvement in a client-facing role
- Capable of balancing competing priorities under tight deadlines without compromising service quality
- Highly autonomous and proactive, able to work independently and exercise sound judgement
