HRUC (comprising Harrow, Richmond, and Uxbridge Colleges) is an amalgamated Further Education institution situated in West London, boasting five distinct campuses located in Harrow on the Hill, Harrow Weald, Hayes, Uxbridge, and Richmond upon Thames.

This newly established role reports to the Chief People Officer and will collaboratively work with the Senior Leadership Team, critical stakeholders, and Human Resources colleagues to actualize strategies and solutions that align with HRUC’s operational goals and strategic imperatives. The appointee will shoulder key duties which encompass:

– Functioning as the go-to specialist within the department for Employee Business Services, assisting the Chief People Officer in providing personnel services that are pivotal to realizing the College Group’s vision and strategic objectives.
– Overseeing and steering the provision of operational services to guarantee transactions are conducted efficiently, effectively, and to a high standard throughout the entire employee experience.
– Pioneering performance enhancements within the unit and ensuring all agreed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and metrics are met.
– Executing transactional tasks related to the employee lifecycle including payroll, alongside providing counsel to staff members.
– Keeping HR policies updated, aligned with industry-leading practices.
– Collaborating with the CPO in nurturing a truly inclusive and dynamic organizational culture.

We are currently in search of a visionary and trailblazing leader who manifests the following qualifications:

– Recognized as a Chartered member of the CIPD (MCIPD).
– Established success in both operational and strategic HR management, with experience in engaging Trade Unions.
– Proficient in delivering high-level operations or HR business service guidance.
– In-depth comprehension of employment legislation and HR best practices.
– Analytical acumen with a proven ability to evaluate situations and champion solutions that seamlessly align with HRUC’s HR requirements.
– Proficient in interpreting complex data and contriving appropriate solutions.
– A proven track record of forging robust relationships with stakeholders both within and outside the organization.
