This position is for a fixed-term contract ending on July 15, 2025, with a working schedule set at 18 hours each week for 39 weeks a year to coincide with academic terms. In this role, the successful candidate will be responsible for rapidly identifying and resolving issues that affect students’ attendance, timeliness, and academic performance to promote optimal attendance records. The role includes proactively engaging with students who may be at risk of poor attendance through direct contact and telephone calls, liaising with parents and college staff, as well as managing attendance records, producing relevant reports, discussing student performance with educators, and coordinating disciplinary meetings concerning attendance.
Applicants must have strong organizational and administrative capabilities, proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, and confidence in utilizing various databases and systems. Strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as a professional phone manner, are essential. Experience in an educational setting working with young people would be a valuable asset.
The work schedule for this role is as follows: Monday from 08:30 to 16:00, Thursday from 12:00 to 16:00, and Friday from 08:30 to 16:00.
