Key Responsibilities
As a Business Technologist, you will act as the critical link between technology and business operations, ensuring digital solutions effectively align with the university’s strategic and operational goals. This multifaceted role involves close collaboration with academic and professional teams to identify technological opportunities, streamline processes, and enhance digital capabilities to improve efficiency, service delivery, and the overall user experience.


Who We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an experienced Business Technologist with the ability to bridge the gap between technology and the operational needs of the university, all while maintaining a strong focus on delivering an outstanding student experience.

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • An undergraduate degree and/or demonstrable experience in business technology, digital transformation, or service management (preferably in higher education).
  • Proficiency in Information Technology Service Management (ITSM) enterprise systems, digital tools, and process automation.
  • A solid track record in business process analysis, workflow optimization, and service enhancement methodologies.
  • Exceptional stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts for audiences across varying levels of technical expertise.
  • Experience in project management and change management, particularly in leading smaller-scale digital transformation initiatives within larger project teams.
  • A data-driven approach to monitoring system performance and driving strategic improvements.
  • Familiarity with GDPR, data governance, and compliance regulations.
  • A proactive commitment to continuous learning and adaptability in response to evolving technology.
