About the Role
We’re searching for a talented and proactive Cloud Applications Manager to join our Business Partnering Team. As a senior member of the team, you’ll play a critical role in enhancing the University’s reputation by ensuring our cloud application services are:
- Robust: Fit for purpose, cost-effective, secure, and essential to operations.
- Collaborative: Foster strong relationships with academic and business stakeholders to understand processes, enhance software application value, and deliver effective solutions.
In this role, you’ll contribute to projects and service improvements that drive continuous innovation while supporting team members with higher-level issues and escalations.

About IT Services
The IT Services department at Loughborough features diverse teams, each dedicated to their unique expertise. Our operations are based in Holywell Park on a beautiful green campus with excellent transport links, ample parking, and access to Burleigh Woods.

About You
To succeed in this role, you’ll demonstrate:
- Experience in developing, reviewing, and optimizing business processes for effective and efficient operations.
- Proven supplier management expertise, particularly with applications delivered via public cloud infrastructure (e.g., Software as a Service).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a track record of building productive professional relationships.
- A degree supported by relevant professional IT qualifications and practical experience.
