Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting robust cloud infrastructure.

About the Team:
The role is part of the remote-first Digital Tools Team at the MRC Epidemiology Unit, University of Cambridge. Our team leads software development, data engineering, web development projects, and provides LIMS (Laboratory Information Management System) support. We work on diverse technical projects supporting clinical studies and epidemiological research across the UK and internationally.
About the Unit:
The MRC Epidemiology Unit is housed within the Institute of Metabolic Science on the Cambridge Biomedical Campus. Our mission is to investigate genetic, developmental, and environmental causes of obesity, diabetes, and related metabolic disorders. We leverage large-scale epidemiological studies to inform strategies for prevention, supported by specialized teams assisting scientists in achieving their research goals.
