University of Wales, Trinity Saint David

We are forming a new multidisciplinary team tasked with delivering and continuously improving digital content across our main external website and staff intranet.

As part of this team, the role will contribute to a collaborative, user-centered approach focused on providing outstanding user experiences. This includes creating engaging, relevant, and accessible content that not only meets but exceeds user expectations.

The team’s ultimate goal is to deliver high-performing digital solutions that inspire prospective students and external stakeholders to choose the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and empower staff to effectively locate and share information.

These new roles will integrate seamlessly with other teams within the Marketing department, such as Social Media, Advertising, and Content Marketing.

About the Role
The Content Designer (Web) will take responsibility for crafting, maintaining, and assessing content for one or more digital platforms, including the primary external website and staff intranet.

By leveraging your expertise, audience insights, and evidence-based understanding, you will design intuitive and engaging digital experiences that aid users in achieving their goals.

You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary delivery team, which includes professionals like UX Researchers, Senior SEO Officers, and Content Editors, to create content solutions that align with or exceed user expectations. Additionally, you will coordinate with Digital Services design teams to successfully plan and implement new product launches.

This role will also contribute to the University’s strategic marketing objectives through effective collaboration with colleagues across various departments.
