Reporting to the Director of Funding and MIS, this role involves designing and developing robust reporting methods to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and accessibility of information within the College. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining systems and processes to ensure the collection, integrity, and currency of data, which supports the College’s funding submissions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contributing to the development of departmental strategies.
- Leading and managing the Data team.
- Establishing and implementing a college-wide reporting policy across multiple databases.
- Defining and enforcing business processes.
- Providing data analysis and insights.
- Collaborating with senior managers and stakeholders to meet organizational goals.
Candidate Requirements:
We are seeking a highly organized and capable individual who possesses the following qualifications and skills:
- Educated to A Level or equivalent standard.
- Advanced IT skills, with significant experience utilizing MS Office.
- Expertise in managing large SQL databases.
- Hands-on experience with reporting tools such as SSRS, Power BI, or similar platforms.
- Proven ability to lead and supervise teams.
- Experience in managing and developing data systems within an FE (Further Education) or educational setting.
