The Clinical Trials and Statistics Unit (ICR-CTSU) at The Institute of Cancer Research is hiring a Clinical Data Manager to join the team at our Sutton site in Surrey. The ICR-CTSU manages an extensive array of national and international phase III multicenter randomized controlled trials as well as phase II trials focused on targeted treatments for breast, urological, and head and neck cancers.

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate to contribute to cancer research within a dynamic and supportive academic setting at one of the leading cancer clinical trials units globally.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Clinical Data Manager, your role will involve:

  • Collaborating with hospitals to gather patient data in line with protocol requirements.
  • Overseeing biological sample collection at clinical sites.
  • Reviewing and cleaning data submitted by clinical sites.
  • Assisting with site monitoring visits.

Person Specification:
We are seeking candidates who:

  • Hold a first degree (or equivalent qualification).
  • Possess excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Are proficient with computers and demonstrate a strong interest in cancer research.
  • Have exceptional attention to detail.

Further Details:
This is an office-based position, and hybrid working (splitting time between the Sutton office and home) may be considered after successfully completing essential training and subject to the role’s requirements. Flexible working arrangements may also be explored.

Recruitment Process:
Candidates shortlisted for this position will be invited to complete an online Data Manager Aptitude Assessment, which includes a brief multiple-choice quiz (~30 minutes) to assess relevant skills for the role.
