We are seeking a dynamic and innovative Digital Solutions Architect (Data) to lead the creation of scalable, secure, and integrated data solutions that will drive Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU) towards a digitally advanced future.
This role is pivotal in how we manage, connect, and make sense of our data—ensuring our platforms and services are underpinned by robust, compliant, and future-ready data architectures.
As our Data Architect within the Digital Solutions Team, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams of digital designers, technical experts, and business leaders. Together, you will design and implement modern data solutions that enhance operational efficiency, enable advanced analytics, and support evidence-based decision-making. You will champion the adoption of cutting-edge data platforms and integration practices, all while prioritizing data security and regulatory compliance.
You will also play a critical role in harmonizing data strategies with the university’s broader digital transformation objectives, helping to deliver innovative, impactful digital services for the institution.
What We’re Looking For:
We’re seeking candidates who can:
- Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performing data architectures aligned with our strategic objectives.
- Develop and manage data integration solutions to ensure interoperability across university systems.
- Establish and enforce data governance, security, and compliance frameworks to safeguard sensitive data.
- Optimize data storage, processing, and retrieval systems for efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability.
- Enable business intelligence and analytics capabilities through thoughtful data architecture.
- Champion the use of modern data platforms, such as cloud-based warehouses and data lakes.
- Work collaboratively with digital, IT operations, business teams, and external partners to deliver cohesive data solutions.
- Evaluate emerging technologies, including AI and automation, to identify opportunities for innovation.
