Shape User-Centred, Secure, and Innovative End User Computing at a Leading University

Are you a visionary technology leader? Canterbury Christ Church University is looking for a Digital Solutions Architect (End User Computing) to define the future of user-facing technology for a digital-first university environment.

In this pivotal role, you’ll design and deliver secure, scalable, and innovative end user computing solutions that empower our staff and students to work, learn, and collaborate seamlessly. You’ll help create user-friendly experiences that are accessible, high-performing, and secure—aligning with evolving digital strategies while supporting modern ways of teaching and working.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create secure, scalable, and intuitive end user computing environments.
  • Champion accessibility and user experience in solution design.
  • Oversee the deployment and management of devices across a range of endpoints.
  • Deliver cloud-based software platforms for flexible, remote, and secure access to university services.
  • Implement robust security and compliance measures across all user devices and services.
  • Collaborate across IT, academic, and business teams to align solutions with university goals.
  • Monitor, analyse, and optimise the performance of endpoint technologies.
  • Stay ahead of industry advancements, identifying opportunities for innovation.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a professional who understands both the human needs and technical complexities of digital services, driving the creation of robust, user-centred solutions that enable accessibility, flexibility, and collaboration across the university community.
