Job Summary
Position: Full-time (1.0 FTE), 37 hours per week
Work Arrangement: Hybrid role, with on-site days based at our Pittville campus and occasional travel to Cheltenham and Gloucester campuses.


About the Department

The IT Services department is made up of two key teams: Digital Services and IT Operations. Together, they play a crucial role in supporting and transforming both the digital and physical environments across the University.


About the Role

We are offering an exciting opportunity to join our Digital Services division as the leader of the Web and Automation Team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and developing innovative application and automation solutions that address the evolving needs of the University.

You will work primarily with cloud-based tools, designing and maintaining products that maximize value for the institution. A “security-first” mindset is crucial, particularly when making applications and services available for broader use across the University.

As a subject matter expert, you’ll serve as a trusted source of knowledge and expertise for not only the Web and Automation Team but also IT Services and the wider University community.
