As Director of Strategy, Innovation, and Corporate Affairs, you will lead DCG’s strategic development, crafting an innovative and ambitious strategic plan to meet the needs of our learners, employers, and broader community.
About DCG and the Role
This exciting opportunity allows you to propel transformational change, foster creativity, and strengthen relationships with learners, staff, employers, and our local community. As a vital member of the Leadership Team, you will guide the development and execution of DCG’s strategic vision while championing innovation throughout the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the delivery and monitoring of DCG’s 2025-28 Corporate Strategy.
- Oversee strategic policies, planning processes, and external landscape analysis.
- Communicate progress and influence DCG’s internal and external reputation positively.
- Drive innovation and design thinking strategies.
- Collaborate with senior leadership, including the Deputy CEO, CFO, and Head of Curriculum Design, to align financial projections and curriculum planning with corporate strategies.
This role ensures DCG remains agile and responsive to the evolving needs of the FE sector, learners, and employers.
About You
We’re seeking a strategic thinker with a proven track record in developing and executing successful strategies within complex education environments. You’ll excel in using data to inform decisions, alongside strong analytical, reporting, and creative thinking skills. Innovation expertise is essential, as is experience with tools to drive creative thinking, generate ideas, and design compelling strategies.
