Position Overview: E-Learning Resource Coordinator
The E-Learning Resource Coordinator will play a critical role in advancing blended learning initiatives at LCCA by supporting the Learning and Teaching Technologist. The successful candidate will help academic staff deliver compelling digital learning experiences by curating high-quality resources, ensuring access to tools like the UCA online library, and managing the functionality of the Canvas learning platform. This position is vital to LCCA’s commitment to innovation in education and its CEL (Chunked Experiential Learning) pedagogy.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with UCA to ensure staff and students have seamless access to its online library, aligning resources with course curricula across levels 3–7.
- Work closely with the Admin department to maintain organised and fully functional Canvas courses and other digital learning materials for academic staff and students.
- Audit blended learning materials to ensure alignment with LCCA’s pedagogical objectives and quality standards.
- Publish and share relevant digital resources in accordance with the academic calendar.
- Provide technical assistance to academic staff for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) and other educational technology tools.
- Develop and curate digital learning resources to support LCCA’s CEL teaching philosophy.
- Partner with academic staff to identify their resource needs and assist in creating innovative digital learning materials.
- Create user guides, tutorials, and other support materials to help academic staff navigate digital tools effortlessly.
- Offer training sessions on creating digital resources and efficient use of educational technologies.
- Gather user feedback on digital resources and recommend enhancements to improve the learning experience.
- Stay updated with emerging trends and best practices in educational technology to strengthen LCCA’s approach to digital learning.
- Contribute to college-wide digital learning initiatives under the supervision of the Learning and Teaching Technologist.
- Perform additional duties consistent with the role as required by the College.

Qualifications & Experience
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in education, educational technology, information management, or a related field.
- Proven experience managing digital resources, ideally within higher education.
- Proficiency in learning management systems (Canvas preferred).
- Competence in developing digital learning resources and related materials.
- Familiarity with blended education practices and relevant technology tools.
- Experience providing technical support and training to users with varying digital literacy levels.
Desirable
- Postgraduate qualification in educational technology, e-learning, or a related field.
- Teaching experience in higher education.
- Multimedia content creation experience for educational purposes.
- Understanding of accessibility standards for digital learning resources.
