The Estates Services team manages over 450 buildings across the University’s functional and commercial estate, ensuring that our built environment supports Oxford’s academic mission. About the Role
As the Digital Construction and Data Lead, you will take charge of advancing the University’s Building Information Modelling (BIM) philosophy and implementing a cutting-edge digital asset data strategy. Your work will span capital projects and the day-to-day operations of the estate.
Key responsibilities include:
- Championing the use of the Common Data Environment (Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar) to elevate data quality, model compliance, and integration with operational systems.
- Supporting digital project delivery and leading initiatives tied to the University’s Smart Campus vision, integrating spatial and sensor data to improve building performance, space utilization, and user experiences.
- Creating intuitive dashboards (e.g., Power BI) for insightful reporting and analysis.
- Establishing asset information requirements and training stakeholders on best practices.
- Collaborating across departments to leave a lasting impact on digital estates management.
About You
We are looking for a candidate who:
- Has hands-on experience in leading BIM implementation across construction projects, aligned to ISO 19650 standards.
- Possesses expertise with Autodesk Revit and CDE platforms like Autodesk Construction Cloud.
- Can develop data dashboards (e.g., Power BI) to provide actionable insights.
- Demonstrates strong skills in managing asset data, ensuring quality, compliance, and seamless integration with systems.
- Thrives in building relationships and can explain technical information clearly to diverse stakeholders.

This role qualifies for sponsorship under the Skilled Worker visa route. The University will cover the costs associated with the Skilled Worker visa and the NHS surcharge for candidates who require a visa.
