About the School / Service

IT Services is a central department working in collaboration with the entire university to revolutionize UEL’s technological landscape, in alignment with our Vision 2028 strategy. Our team delivers innovative solutions through a rapidly evolving cloud environment. In partnership with staff, students, and external collaborators, IT Services drives technological advancements to improve our learning and working spaces. We support, develop, and maintain the university’s IT Service Portfolio, ensuring excellence in our systems and services.

About the Role

In this position, you will be a key part of the End User Compute team, providing technical expertise to ensure a superior digital workspace experience. You will focus on supporting and maintaining a Unified Desktop Environment (UDE) across a range of devices, including desktops, laptops, and tablets, running Windows, Mac, Android, and iOS operating systems.

Candidates shortlisted for the role will be required to complete a technical assessment to demonstrate their practical skills and problem-solving abilities.

Solving complex challenges, optimizing digital experiences, and enabling productivity through well-designed, scalable solutions excite you. You are a natural collaborator, always seeking innovative ways to improve performance, security, and usability within the digital workspace. You are dedicated to taking ownership of outcomes, adopting agile principles, and finding the balance between achieving technical excellence and delivering impactful results.
