We are seeking a Faculty Planning Officer to join the Faculty of Business and Law. In this role, you will provide crucial data analysis and planning support to guide strategic decision-making and priorities within the University. While prior university experience is not required, you must bring strong analytical skills and a professional approach to effectively engage with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth data analysis and prepare detailed reports to inform decision-making processes.
- Disseminate complex information tailored to various audiences and negotiate confidently across all levels of an organization.
- Support strategic planning processes, including space and resource planning, to ensure alignment with the University’s priorities.
- Enhance and optimize management information systems and processes, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
What we’re looking for:
- Proficiency in data management systems and advanced Microsoft Office usage, particularly Excel (e.g., creating multi-layered spreadsheets).
- Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities and manage expectations professionally.
- Experience managing and analyzing complex datasets and generating actionable insights.
- A proven track record of operating successful information analysis functions within large, complex organizations.
- Effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- A proactive team player who thrives on challenges and contributing to meaningful projects.
About the Team:
You will join the ambitious and high-performing Faculty Planning Team within the University Strategic Planning Directorate. This Directorate drives institutional excellence by supporting the planning process, monitoring performance, assessing risks, and guiding strategy development. The team plays an integral role in informing key priorities and providing expert guidance on strategic implementations.
