Salary: £61,282 to £67,501 (subject to pay award), plus excellent benefits including generous holiday entitlement and Civil Service pension.

The Royal Botanic Garden Edinburgh (RBGE) is a globally respected organization dedicated to plant science, horticulture, and the conservation of biodiversity. RBGE is seeking an experienced and driven Head of Digital Delivery to spearhead its digital transformation programme. As a key leader, you will be responsible for developing and implementing RBGE’s digital strategy, providing expert guidance on infrastructure, network systems, cybersecurity, and business continuity planning.

This critical role demands a forward-thinking leader who thrives in managing complex projects using Agile and Lean methodologies. You will establish and lead a high-performing digital team, refresh and operationalize RBGE’s digital strategy, harness the potential of AI for innovation, champion data-driven decision-making, oversee budgeting and secure funding, and foster collaboration across departments.

What We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate will be a proven leader in delivering agile transformation projects with exceptional communication skills, strategic thinking, and technical expertise. They must demonstrate strong analytical abilities, a proactive mindset when tackling technology challenges, and have familiarity with emerging digital technologies, AI advancements, cybersecurity practices, and GDPR regulations. A degree in a technology-related field or equivalent professional experience is essential.
