About the Role:
The Head of Digital Learning, also referred to internally as the EdTech Lead, is a new and crucial role aimed at facilitating the successful implementation of the Digital Academy. This position will be part of the Education and Training Division but will involve close collaboration with senior colleagues across Anna Freud, including the Education and Training Division Leadership team, the Closing the Gap Acceleration (CtGA) team, and various department heads. Additionally, the role requires engaging with external tech organizations for platform procurement and conducting market research to evaluate market trends, target audiences, and consumer demand for the services offered through the Digital Academy.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will join a dynamic, growing, and successful team. They should be an experienced professional in educational technology with expertise in learning design, virtual learning platforms, and experience in commissioning and procuring digital platforms. Demonstrated ability to conduct market research in domestic and international markets is essential. Familiarity with the charity sector and/or education and training environments would be beneficial. Experience with projects related to children, young people and families, mental health, or health-related/science subjects is highly welcomed.

Location:
This role offers hybrid working arrangements (a blend of onsite and remote work). Staff are expected to work onsite at least 20% of their working hours at our London office (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH).
Contract Duration:
Initially fixed-term for two years, with the potential for extension.
