Canterbury Christ Church University is on the hunt for a Head of Digital Solutions – a visionary digital leader who will spearhead the design, development, and delivery of our cutting-edge digital infrastructure. You’ll play a key role in empowering staff and students, transforming how we operate, teach, and learn.
As a senior leader within the IT & Digital Directorate, you’ll be instrumental in shaping the university’s technology landscape – from cloud strategies and enterprise systems to data integration and end-user computing. By aligning people, processes, and technology, you’ll create a cohesive, secure, and sustainable digital ecosystem built for the future.
Your Responsibilities:
- Provide Strategic Leadership: Collaborate with the Director of Digital Architecture to define and execute a clear vision and roadmap for digital platforms, networks, enterprise systems, and cloud services.
- Enhance User Experience: Work closely with the Digital Design team to align technology decisions with service design, improving IT solutions and harnessing innovation to meet emerging technological needs.
- Deliver Robust Architecture: Steer scalable, secure, and sustainable system design, ensuring alignment with long-term institutional goals.
- Lead Your Team: Cultivate a talented team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, growth, and learning while prioritizing resources effectively.
- Modernize Infrastructure: Drive system and infrastructure modernization using secure, forward-thinking approaches to cloud, networking, and systems management.
- Boost Interoperability: Ensure seamless system integration to support automation, better data flow, and insights across the university.
- Ensure Governance: Implement and enforce high standards, security measures, and resilience across all digital solutions.
- Shape Digital Projects: Deliver high-quality, sustainable outcomes by guiding internal and external teams, aligned with strategic objectives and design principles.
