About the Role
Regent’s University London is looking for an experienced Head of Infrastructure and Cloud to take the operational and strategic lead for the University’s critical IT systems, cloud environments, and network infrastructure. This senior leadership role is both hands-on and strategic, requiring someone who can identify opportunities for improvement, spearhead key initiatives, and contribute to the delivery of strategic IT projects.

You will oversee all areas of Infrastructure and Cloud technologies, including core infrastructure, cloud platforms, enterprise networks, collaboration technologies, and end-user computing. A key part of the role is ensuring these services remain secure, high-performing, resilient, and aligned with the University’s core objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the operational and strategic development of the University’s IT and cloud systems.
  • Lead innovative projects and deliver strategic IT initiatives.
  • Provide expertise in managing Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory environments.
  • Design, secure, and implement robust IT infrastructure solutions.
  • Drive improvements across IT services to enhance user experience and service delivery.
  • Inspire and develop team members to achieve operational excellence.
  • Collaborate effectively with a diverse group of stakeholders.

Requirements
To excel in this role, you will need:

  • Significant expertise in IT Infrastructure and Cloud technologies.
  • Strong leadership experience, with a proven track record of managing, developing, and inspiring teams.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, and related technologies.
  • The ability to lead end-to-end initiatives, integrating technical and user needs into successful solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with stakeholders.

Please note: While the University supports hybrid and flexible working, this role requires on-campus presence for at least three days per week.
