We currently seek an enthusiastic and meticulous professional to fortify our Student Data team by assuming the role of HESA Data Futures Manager. Your pivotal contribution will solidify the university’s adherence to the HESA Data Futures initiative, championing data accuracy and effectiveness through a proactive and meticulous approach. This appointment is offered on a fixed-term basis for a duration of 12 months, with the potential for extension contingent on available funding.
**Role Overview:**
In this vital capacity, you are tasked with overseeing the robust integration of HESA Data Futures within our institution. Your role ensures strict compliance in terms of data handling, process refinement, and system engagement. You will operate within the framework of the Student Data team, playing a critical role in orchestrating the initiatives and structural transformations needed in the Academic Registry for the successful fruition of the Data Futures project.
Your responsibilities include discerning essential aspects of the HESA Data Futures returns, guaranteeing that our processes meet the stringent validation criteria and culminate in the most precise returns feasible.
**Candidate Profile:**
Your background reflects substantial hands-on experience and a deep-seated expertise in the SITS student record framework. You possess a strong record in data analysis for quality assurance, continuous enhancement of processes and systems, crafting extensive management information returns, and the capability to decode and apply business processes specific to the HESA Data Futures student return. Given recent modifications in the 2022/23 cycle, proficiency in statutory returns, particularly in relation to HESA Data Futures, is critically valuable for this role.
This is a full-time position with the option for hybrid work. We remain open to discuss possibilities for flexible working arrangements.
