Job Opportunity: Identity and Access Management Support Specialist

- Salary: £25,138 per annum, with annual increments up to £28,759 per annum.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Identity and Access Management Support Specialist to join the IT and Computing Service at the University of East Anglia.
About the Role:
The IT Delivery Team at UEA facilitates changes across various domains such as Identity Management, Student Information, Finance, Human Resources, Payroll, Library, Customer Relationship Management, Web Content Management, Portal, Enterprise-Wide Reporting, Research Management, and further business-specific applications.
In this role, you’ll closely collaborate with developers within the Identity and Access Management Team, aiding them in delivering exceptional service. You’ll also coordinate with application specialists in the Integrated Operations Team.
Given the technical nature of this role, a working knowledge of Windows Server is essential. You will be required to consistently and reliably adhere to established procedures to execute technical tasks. Responsibilities include:
- Liaising with end-users, suppliers, and expert groups
- Providing training
- Monitoring service performance
- Conducting upgrades and patching
- Resolving faults
- Managing backup and security for various Corporate Systems
Additionally, you will play a crucial role in system operations and ensure that all process and system documentation is complete, accessible, and current. This position also offers exposure to a variety of systems, positioning you well for other roles within the division as opportunities arise. There will also be prospects for involvement in low-code development as this capability is expanded across the department.
