About the Role
This is a full-time, fixed-term position available until March 2026.
UK Secure Research Platform (UKSeRP) delivers Trusted Research Environments (TREs) to over 28 tenants worldwide. These secure environments allow researchers to access sensitive health, social, and administrative datasets for impactful studies.
We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Impact Officer to lead efforts in tracking, enhancing, and demonstrating the influence of TREs and their associated research projects. This pivotal role focuses on showcasing the value of secure research platforms in driving real-world outcomes. The Impact Officer will collaborate with various TREs, projects, and stakeholders to document and articulate the contributions of secure environments.
Additionally, they will work closely with researchers to identify, develop, and communicate potential pathways of impact, both at the individual project level and across broader strategic initiatives.

Welsh Language Skills
The required Welsh language proficiency for this role is Level 1 – Basic. Candidates should be able to pronounce Welsh words, greet callers in Welsh (e.g., “good morning/afternoon”), and use simple everyday phrases (e.g., “thank you” or “please”). Level 1 proficiency can be achieved through a brief one-hour course.
