The Information Assistant, reporting to the User Services Librarian, is an integral part of the team interacting directly with users, delivering support services at the library desk following a set schedule, and contributing to technical, professional, and outreach efforts to maintain a high standard of library services.

Candidates should possess library experience, preferably within an educational environment, and have proficiency with technical tools, such as MS Office, Library Management Systems, and accessing Online Academic Resources. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong communication, listening, and language skills, manage interactions with diverse individuals tactfully, and have cultural awareness.

The role requires the ability to work autonomously in overseeing specific activities and collaborate effectively with colleagues. This part-time role is primarily on-campus and is particularly suitable for those pursuing qualifications in librarianship. Work hours and patterns offer some flexibility throughout the academic year, and there’s a possibility for limited remote work during designated periods.
