Position: ISFE Examinations Manager
Contract: 2-year Fixed Term, 17.5 hours per week
Salary: Grade 5 – £33,192.94 Full-Time Equivalent, Pro Rata £16,596.47
Work Environment:
The College promotes hybrid working, allowing employees to divide their time between home and the College. Although primarily based at the College, employees may spend up to 50% of their working time at home, subject to business requirements.

Role Overview:
As an ISFE Examinations Manager, you will oversee the planning, execution, and development of the Intercollegiate Specialty Fellowship dental examinations. Responsibilities include team management, standards compliance, quality assurance, and question bank maintenance. You will report to both the Specialty Fellowship Examinations Executive (‘SFEE’) and the Deputy Head of Assessment. This role requires the coordination of six specialty exams, 14 exam sessions annually, and managing eight intercollegiate boards alongside another ISFE Manager.
Candidate Profile:
- Minimum three years of relevant administrative experience
- Excellent communication and influencing abilities
- Proficiency in interpreting and applying detailed regulations
- Strong IT system and database management knowledge
- Leadership skills and the ability to collaborate effectively
- Strong multitasking and planning capabilities
- Keen attention to detail
- Understanding of relevant legislation (e.g., GDPR, Equality Act)
Desirable Skills:
- Line management experience
- Proofreading experience
- Familiarity with examination processes
