Job Advertisement: IT Assistant

Role Overview
The IT Assistant will report to the IT Manager and work closely with the IT Officer to provide essential day-to-day IT and audio-visual services to Fellows, staff, students, and visitors. This role is dynamic and hands-on, focusing on user-facing support for various technologies, including desktop and mobile devices, peripherals, meeting and teaching room equipment, and hybrid/video conferencing systems across all College sites.

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused individual with experience in IT support within a user-facing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong technical troubleshooting abilities and a passion for delivering excellent service. Communicating effectively and working well both independently and within a small team are critical attributes for this position.

Key Details

  • Working Hours: Full-time (35 hours per week, typically 08:00–16:00). Occasional flexibility, including out-of-hours support, may be required.
  • Start Date: As soon as possible after appointment.
