Derby College Group is seeking a passionate IT Deployment Specialist to join our dynamic IT team. This role offers the chance to make a significant impact by providing IT support across all campuses, with the main base located at the Roundhouse. Occasional travel to other campuses is required.
About the Role
As an IT Deployment Specialist, you’ll deliver proactive support to our end users while collaborating closely with the IT Desktop Services team. A key focus of this role involves coordinating with curriculum teams to assess their software needs and implementing tailored configurations, including images and task sequences.
Your responsibilities will also include:
- Ensuring operating systems and software packages meet Cyber Essentials certification standards.
- Managing over 5,000 devices using industry tools like SCCM, Intune, Azure, and JAMF.
- Staying organized and technically adept to tackle software updates and device fleet management effectively.
