The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) is delighted to uphold its commitment as an Accredited Living Wage Employer. Starting from 1st April 2025, the Voluntary Living Wage (VLW) rate will rise to £12.60 per hour, and for this role, an enhanced hourly rate of £13.96 per hour will be implemented.

The Role: Service Desk Analyst
The Service Desk Analyst is a vital role, providing comprehensive IT support to students and staff within the University’s managed desktop environment. Acting as the first point of contact for IT issues, the postholder will log requests and incidents via the IT Service Desk system and deliver timely, accurate end-user assistance either in person, by telephone, or via email.
Based at the SA1 campus, the position involves offering 1st and 2nd line IT & Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) support while occasionally attending to PC hardware and equipment maintenance, including installation, diagnostics, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality.
Key responsibilities include:
- Working independently and proactively without supervision.
- Providing guidance and support to junior team members.
