The Role: As part of this position, proficiency in PowerShell automation is crucial for the development, support, and delivery of key IT platform services and projects. While the role primarily involves Microsoft technologies, there are opportunities to explore other areas. This diverse role supports your continuous development and includes responsibilities for day-to-day operations. About Your Team: You will be part of the Cloud Platforms Team, working alongside five IT platform professionals. The team’s responsibilities cover the entire university and include providing expert guidance to the wider IT Services department regarding the university’s critical platform services. This supportive team offers expert support and development across a variety of platforms such as Windows Server, Active Directory, PKI, Azure Infrastructure, Microsoft Entra, VMware hypervisor, Oracle Linux, and in-house web management tools.
