Department Background and Role Overview
Are you passionate about delivering an exceptional university experience? Do you excel in a forward-thinking, collaborative environment? If so, we invite you to join our newly established Student and Academic Services (SAS) Directorate at Canterbury Christ Church University.
As a Functional Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and building the university’s new Student Record System (SITS) and its integrated components. You will contribute to the seamless integration of business processes throughout the full student journey—spanning Admissions, Enrolment, and Graduation—and spearhead initiatives for continuous improvement.
In this role, you will lead efforts to support business areas by enabling operational understanding of how student lifecycle processes and data are managed through SITS. Your work will involve providing frontline assistance to resolve problems, gathering requirements, and leveraging your expertise to develop streamlined and efficient processes. Your goal is to enhance the student experience while maintaining a sharp focus on strengthening data quality.
Key to Success
To thrive in this position, you’ll be a subject matter expert in SITS functionality and its role in supporting key business processes. You’ll have the ability to align system features with the strategic priorities and operational needs of Canterbury Christ Church University (CCCU). You’ll demonstrate flexibility, working on immediate solutions while also considering long-term developments.
Working Approach
