The Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated individual to join our digital learning team. The successful candidate will collaborate on creating innovative, professional, and engaging digital learning resources for platforms like the University’s Virtual Learning Environment (VLE).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Digital Services, academic staff, and subject matter experts (internal and external) to design high-quality digital learning content that meets user requirements.
  • Leverage multimedia applications and conduct technical reviews and testing to ensure content accuracy and quality before publication.
  • Ensure all learning materials align with University policies and guidelines, including standards on editorial style, pedagogy, accessibility, copyright, and intellectual property.
  • Support project milestones and address challenges by identifying, resolving, or escalating issues as necessary.
  • Upload content to online learning platforms, ensuring it adheres to agreed templates, specifications, and standards.
  • Maintain professional development by staying informed about trends, practices, and benchmarks within the digital learning and higher education sectors.

Location:
This position is based at our Swansea or Carmarthen campus; however, the role requires flexibility, including working from home or other locations as needed.


Additional Information

  • Annual Leave: 28 days plus 8 bank holidays and 4 University closure days (pro rata).
