Job Opportunity: Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and Library Manager

We are now looking for a dynamic and experienced Learning Resources Centre (LRC) and Library Manager to join our team, helping to elevate students’ online learning experiences and strengthening the overall student journey. The ideal candidate will have substantial experience within LRCs, libraries, or information services and will be a strategic thinker capable of hands-on service delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead improvements in online learning and overall student experience.
  • Manage the LRC team effectively while fostering a collaborative and student-focused environment.
  • Use data-driven insights to optimize services and manage change efficiently.
  • Advocate diversity, equity, inclusion, and access to ensure the library serves all students.
  • Contribute to and support learning, teaching, and assessment through modern library services.

Candidate Requirements:

  • An honours degree (minimum requirement); a qualification in librarianship is highly desirable.
  • Significant experience in managing library or LRC services.
  • Digitally literate and comfortable implementing changes to improve workflows and services.
  • Strong communication skills, with a proactive and professional approach.
