The Centre for Excellence in Learning and Teaching (CELT) is central to this vision. As part of the Library and Learning Services Directorate, CELT drives innovative, inspiring, and supportive practices for teaching and learning across the university. Working closely with academic teams, CELT facilitates active blended learning and online programmes while also supporting the professional growth of both academic and professional services staff.
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Learning Technology Advisor to join the CELT team and contribute to the delivery of engaging, high-quality teaching. In this role, you will provide training and support at individual, programme, and school levels in the effective use of technology-enhanced learning (TEL) platforms. These may include Turnitin, Moodle, Panopto, and Mahara, among others.
You will serve as an expert advisor, providing guidance and offering consultancy to academic staff and key stakeholders on leveraging TEL platforms for curricular activities and special projects. This role requires advanced technical expertise, interactive teaching capabilities, and the ability to apply technological solutions to enhance teaching quality, resulting in positive outcomes for our diverse body of learners. Your contributions will align with CELT’s strategic priorities and the goals set out in the University’s Vision 2028 plan.

You are a skilled educational practitioner with extensive teaching experience and a proven ability to assess the impact of professional development initiatives. You bring an evidenced history of working collaboratively within project-based environments and a profound understanding of how technology can enhance teaching methodologies and improve student outcomes.
