Working Schedule:
This position is part-time within a job-sharing arrangement, spanning Wednesday to Friday, inclusive of 21 hours across these days. Wednesday serves as the job-share transition day. The role necessitates availability during core business hours from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Compensation:
The role offers a full-time equivalent (FTE) annual salary of £42,762, in addition to a 6% contributory pension plan.

Job Opportunity:
Anna Freud’s small but specialized library is seeking a motivated and service-oriented librarian to join our team. The library caters to over 600 postgraduate students from University College London (UCL) as well as the staff of Anna Freud. Prospective candidates should be adaptive, autonomous, and possess strong teamwork and organizational abilities. Familiarity with the higher education sector and small, specialized libraries is advantageous. This job-share position involves a 3-day work week cooperating with an existing librarian to meet the diverse information needs of our users, including both staff and students.

Role Responsibilities:
The two part-time Librarians will co-manage the library, promote its services, and ensure that a premium information service is provided in accordance with the goals of Anna Freud.

Work Location:
The role offers a hybrid work setup, which includes a combination of remote and onsite work at our London site (4-8 Rodney Street, London N1 9JH), with a minimum requirement of 7 hours of onsite work each week.

Contract Term:
The position is permanent.
