About the Role
As a key member of our library team, you will play a central role in the daily operations of our library, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors at the Library Welcome Desk and ensuring support for those studying or researching remotely.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting students, staff, and visitors both in person and online, addressing first-line enquiries.
- Providing guidance on accessing library resources, collections, and membership services.
- Offering support for digital tools, printing services, and resolving account or information queries.
- Retrieving books, managing learning spaces, and fostering a positive, inclusive library experience for all.
About You
We are seeking an enthusiastic, confident individual who is passionate about delivering outstanding customer service. You will be comfortable managing multiple enquiries in our fast-paced library environment and supporting users online.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Proactive, organized, reliable, and an excellent communicator with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Capable of working independently while maintaining a strong attention to detail.
- Competent with IT systems, acting as the first point of contact for any issues that arise.
