Prince of Peace Lutheran College is inviting applications for a part-time permanent position teaching Design and Digital Technologies, as well as Engineering, Industrial Skills, and Mathematics.
Prince of Peace Lutheran College is an independent K-12 coeducational Christian school in the northwest suburbs of Brisbane. Founded in 1984 by the Prince of Peace Lutheran Congregation, the college provides a Christian education to community children. The school operates across two campuses, with the Junior Campus for Kindergarten to Year 6 in Everton Park and the Middle & Senior Campus for Years 7 to 12 in Everton Hills, which opened in July 2009. Presently, there are approximately 820 students enrolled.
Applicant Criteria include:
– Demonstrated commitment to the Christian values of the college and contribution to pastoral care, which can involve leading worship and supporting the college’s caring atmosphere through Restorative Practices.
– A strong foundation in delivering a high level of educational programs, shown through knowledge of the Queensland curriculum, detailed planning skills, diverse teaching and assessment strategies, and the integration of information and communication technologies in teaching.
– Proven dedication to participating in a variety of school activities, demonstrating the ability to work cohesively within the college team and enrich the extracurricular opportunities as the college grows.
