Location: Cranfield, Bedfordshire

We are seeking applications from enthusiastic digital specialists to join our newly established Process Automation and Improvement Team, which is dedicated to enhancing operational efficiency and driving smarter ways of working throughout the University.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals early in their digital careers, offering room to grow and develop skills in innovative ways. The successful candidate will need to demonstrate a passion for learning and a drive for delivering practical solutions that benefit Cranfield University.

About the Role

In this position, you will contribute to delivering a range of digital projects aimed at streamlining processes, fostering collaboration, and optimizing the use of technology across various University functions.

You will have the opportunity to develop expertise in key areas, including:

  • Microsoft Power Platform (Power Automate, Power Apps, Power BI)
  • Software testing
  • Software support and management
  • Business process analysis
  • Project delivery methodologies

As part of the team, you’ll play a key role in designing, managing, and supporting Power Platform solutions and related technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.

About You

We are looking for a technically skilled and motivated professional with a solid foundation in IT and a commitment to ongoing professional development. You’ll have a passion for leveraging technology to foster organizational efficiency and innovation.

While some hands-on experience with software development (ideally in the Microsoft Power Platform) is preferred, other relevant experience is welcome.

You will thrive in an environment where you are encouraged to learn, adapt, and develop — supported by colleagues and self-directed training resources. Strong problem-solving skills and customer-focused support will be integral to your success.

Your ability to communicate effectively, work collaboratively, and understand stakeholder needs will make you a valuable member of our team.
