Annual Leave and Location:
You will receive 25 days of annual leave, plus standard public holidays, along with 4 additional days during the office closure between Christmas and New Year. This position is based at the College Lane Campus, University of Hertfordshire.
About the Role:
The Document Services Team at the University of Hertfordshire delivers a variety of essential print services to the University, its students, and the wider community. Operating from our state-of-the-art print room on the College Lane campus, the team is tight-knit and collaborative.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
As the Print Supervisor, you will deliver exceptional customer service to both internal and external clients. You will oversee corporate lithographic and digital print production, large-format printing, vinyl printing, photocopying, print finishing, and manage packaging and distribution of printed materials. Additionally, you will handle the operational management of the University’s print facilities, including workflow supervision, financial processes, and team coordination.
Skills and Experience:
We are looking for someone with a positive “can-do” attitude, the ability to remain composed under pressure, and a strong sense of accountability. The ideal candidate will be a reliable team player, with a proven track record of managing print service delivery and leading a team in a fast-paced customer-facing environment.
Qualifications:
Applicants must hold a Level 3 City and Guilds qualification (or equivalent) in a relevant subject and have a minimum of A-Level education.
