Position: Product Owner
We are in search of an experienced Product Owner to join our dynamic team. This role is integral to shaping, developing, and maintaining Tribal’s product portfolio by transforming product requirements into reality through effective leadership of day-to-day development activities.
Responsibilities
As a Product Owner at Tribal, you will:
- Translate product vision, business strategy, and customer needs into software features and product functionality.
- Collaborate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Work closely with development teams to prepare and prioritize features, determine the order of stories in the feature backlog, and align planning with quarterly logistics and regular updates.
- Manage product backlogs to meet product roadmaps, contractual obligations, and statutory requirements.
- Provide key functional expertise and direction, taking charge of solutions and capabilities.
- Prioritize tasks by considering multiple factors and communicate decisions to key stakeholders effectively.
- Conduct research on customer personas, problems, and solutions, proposing actionable approaches.
Key Skills and Attributes
- Strong proficiency in maintaining software roadmaps and developing business, technical, and/or functional requirements.
- Experience working with development sprint teams.
- Excellent written communication skills for drafting technical and business documents such as user stories, business requirements, and functional requirements.
- Outstanding customer service and interpersonal skills, with the ability to foster and maintain effective relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Experience with product implementation in higher education or a similar field is desirable but not essential.
