About The Wiener Holocaust Library:
The Wiener Holocaust Library stands as the world’s oldest archive dedicated to the Holocaust, housing Britain’s most extensive assortment of materials—both published and unpublished—documents, and photographs from the Nazi period.

Role Overview:
The Library is looking for an educated librarian, information specialist, or seasoned cataloguer to join our team as a Project Cataloguer. This role is essential for the support of the DTP and other related projects. Ideal candidates will have proven experience in cataloguing print media (e.g., books, periodicals, pamphlets) and/or audiovisual content (e.g., oral histories). Applicants must be highly organized, committed to excellence and capable of demonstrating significant self-motivation.

Job Responsibilities:
The new Project Cataloguer will handle an array of unique items, including pamphlets, periodicals, objects, posters, and audiovisual material. The collection features documentation of political antisemitism and fascism from Europe, Britain, and beyond; it also includes uncommon newspapers and survivor reports post-liberation, as well as one of the largest caches of Nazi propaganda outside Germany. As part of a compact team, the candidate will also be expected to be a cooperative team player and contribute to multiple projects as required.

Application Process:
To apply, please email your resume and a cover letter detailing your relevant qualifications to Olivia Oakley, Office Coordinator, at [email protected]. Ensure to click the ‘Apply’ button above. Applications submitted without a cover letter will not be evaluated.
