An exciting opportunity has arisen for a skilled professional to lead and enhance the Quality Assurance function within the Enterprise Architecture team as part of Computing and Library Services. This pivotal role will contribute significantly to implementing a major digital transformation programme at the University of Huddersfield, delivering improved efficiencies alongside enhanced experiences for both students and staff.
Reporting to the Head of Enterprise Architecture, you will oversee the creation and management of various testing processes, including functional, system, integration, and user-acceptance testing.
We are seeking an individual with a degree-level education or equivalent qualifications/experience, and ISTQB Foundation certification or an equivalent qualification in Software Testing. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of industry-standard QA techniques, methodologies, requirements, and regulations. You must be a team player who can work independently, motivate and organise a team, and build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels, both internally and externally.
The ability to demonstrate how you meet all essential criteria outlined in the person specification is required.
