About the Role
You will collaborate extensively with Curriculum Area Managers, Heads of Faculty, Assistant Principals, Apprenticeship Managers, the Systems Development team, and MIS. Your mission will be to ensure our dashboards, reporting platforms, and quality systems are robust, user-friendly, and actionable. With the autonomy to create impactful solutions, this role allows you to combine technical expertise and data utilization to inspire informed decisions and genuine improvements.

Who We Need
We are looking for an experienced professional who can lead the development and use of performance reporting and quality systems across Further Education (FE), Higher Education (HE), and Apprenticeships. You’ll integrate analytic savvy with stakeholder engagement, providing guidance and professional development to empower leaders and curriculum teams to proactively utilize data in monitoring performance and driving improvement.
Key Challenges Include:
- Driving Adoption and Impact: Helping leaders and managers across diverse provisions not only access dashboards but use insights to inform timely and impactful actions.
- Aligning Stakeholders and Systems: Collaborating with curriculum leaders, MIS, and Systems Development teams to build unified, accurate, user-focused tools.
- Managing Intelligence and Risk: Identifying trends and risks early, analyzing performance data, and presenting evidence-based recommendations that prompt necessary improvements.
- Staying Ahead of Innovation: Applying emerging practices, including AI-driven approaches, to enhance reporting, benchmarking, and quality assurance methods.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and refine performance dashboards and reporting platforms to enable rapid quality improvements, with ongoing maintenance and refinement.
- Deliver training to leaders, managers, and teaching teams on the use of data tools and dashboards across FE, HE, and apprenticeship provisions (e.g., ALPs, dashboards, TLA systems, Strata, etc.).
- Support curriculum teams in proactively using reports and dashboards to identify trends and create quality improvement plans.
- Analyze performance data to identify risks and trends, sharing findings and recommendations with the Quality Reporting and Compliance Manager.
- Administer the college complaints process efficiently, providing timely resolutions for all stakeholders.
- Offer support and guidance for quality-focused activities across the College.
- Seek innovative practices, utilizing AI-driven methods to enhance data reporting and quality assurance processes.
- Prepare and produce quality reports (termly, annual, and ad hoc), presenting statistical data and trends in a user-friendly manner.
- Monitor outcomes against local, regional, and national benchmarks where appropriate.
- Contribute to broader quality functions, working collaboratively as part of the Quality Team.

What You Will Bring
The successful candidate will have a strong analytical skillset, with the ability to manage complex data, systems, and quality processes to deliver strategic insights and solutions. Key qualifications include:
- Proven experience in analyzing and reporting complex data sets, presenting actionable insights for diverse audiences.
- Advanced Excel proficiency and experience managing large datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Familiarity with data tools such as Power Apps, Power BI, or similar platforms for tracking and monitoring operational performance.
- Knowledge of AI-driven technologies for streamlining processes and producing smarter analytics.
- Demonstrated experience in coordinating or supporting processes that drive quality improvement.
- Exceptional ability to train and advise staff on systems, processes, and quality initiatives.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information confidently and clearly.
- Strong relationship-building abilities to effectively collaborate across a variety of teams, roles, and functions.
- Outstanding organizational and prioritization abilities, ensuring deadlines are met amidst competing demands.
- High attention to detail and analytical skills, evidenced by producing accurate, concise written reports.
