Role Overview:
In this pivotal position, you’ll play a key role in developing, implementing, and managing QAA’s assortment of services for educational institutions in England. Our offerings include invaluable support and guidance on quality and standards in higher education, such as:
- Assistance for institutions pursuing registration or degree awarding powers with the Office for Students (OfS)
- Our Elective Quality Review, backed by the Education Service Guidelines (ESG) and marked for quality
- The Targeted Quality and Standards service, offering in-depth, skilled analysis in specific areas as requested by education providers
These services are rooted in QAA’s stellar reputation as a guardian of quality and standards in higher education, designed to be adaptable in meeting the unique needs of each institution through clear and efficient processes.
In this role, you’ll foster trust and partnerships within the higher education community, ensuring our services are executed with precision and excellence. Leading teams of reviewers, you’ll facilitate delivery of our services and assist the Head in managing and expanding our portfolio, including designing new offerings.
Candidate Profile:
We are eager to engage with individuals who have substantial experience in higher education quality assurance within the context of England. Your expertise should include a thorough familiarity with quality assurance systems and processes, encompassing review, validation, and developmental activities. Ideal candidates will be adept at leading teams, committed to delivering high-quality results, and skilled in sharing insights through both direct interaction and detailed written reports. Familiarity with the OfS regulatory framework and experience working with or meeting OfS standards will be considered an asset.
