Records and Ceremonies Officer

This is a full-time role (1.0 FTE) on a fixed-term contract until 31st July 2025. The salary package commences from £31,387 to £36,924 per year at Grade 6, with the final offer depending on the successful applicant’s qualifications and experience.

Are you a seasoned administrator with proficiency in guiding teams and a preference for a vibrant work setting? At a pivotal time for our institution, we’re in search of an exceptional Records and Ceremonies Officer to enhance our Records Team’s capabilities.

In this role, you will be instrumental in:

  • Leading and direct a team of four Administrators, delegating responsibilities and arranging workloads to guarantee smooth day-to-day processes.
  • Orchestrating the organization and execution of graduation events, including the implementation of more flexible ceremonies.
  • Maintaining oversight on data integrity as the principal Records Data Champion, ensuring precision within the student records system (SITS).
  • Delivering stellar administrative assistance throughout the student journey, while promoting a constructive, value-led professional setting.

We require someone with:

  • A proven track record of team management, with an innate ability to guide and motivate.
  • Robust administrative expertise, emphasis on detail, and efficiency.
  • Superior communication skills to effectively interact with various internal and external entities.
  • A dynamic and versatile approach, competent at working autonomously and as part of a larger team.
  • Proficient IT skills matched with the capacity to handle numerous assignments in a dynamic environment.
