Position: Research Assistant (Part-time Options Available)

About Us:
The National Institute of Teaching is committed to elevating the standards of teacher professional development by implementing rigorous and innovative school-led research. Our research department is integral to achieving our goals, collaborating closely with our program delivery units to optimize pedagogical methodologies and address the evolving demands and inquiries from schools and associated educational entities.
Open Positions:
We are looking for a team of Research Assistants to join us in producing pivotal and actionable insights into effective teacher training and educational leadership. These roles involve working in tandem with our Research Fellows and Head of Evaluation and Observational Research, contributing to academic studies related to the NIoT’s program offerings. We have 4 full-time and several part-time opportunities ready for candidates adept in either quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods research.
Responsibilities:
– Assist in creating research strategies and tools
– Undertake data collection tasks
– Organize and manage data sets
– Analyze data and deduce significant conclusions
– Support in managing and coordinating research projects and related data activities
– Perform literature reviews and synthesize findings
– Aid in preparing reports and other written materials
Requirements:
– Master’s degree in education, social sciences, health sciences, business management, or other applicable areas
– Research experience in qualitative, quantitative, or mixed-methods study designs
– Proficient in data management and analysis with a variety of methodologies
– Strong communication capabilities, both verbally and writing
– Proactive in problem-solving with a collaborative approach
– Dedication to the objectives of NIoT
– Passion and understanding of the education sector
Preferred Qualifications:
– Doctoral degree in relevant fields
– Experience or interest in teacher education and professional or leadership development
– Practical work exposure within educational or organizational management environments
