About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to take on the role of Senior Data and Reporting Manager within Edge Hill University’s Student Record Systems implementation. This role will provide senior-level leadership, leading the development of a robust Management Information and External Reporting environment to support the University during its transition to new systems, processes, and data governance models.
In this role, you will collaborate extensively with Project and BAU (Business as Usual) teams across the University. You will play an instrumental role in advising, influencing, and enabling teams to achieve long-term enhancements in capability. A key focus will involve ensuring BAU colleagues are well-prepared, aligned, and equipped to sustain improved data and reporting practices post-implementation.

About You
As Senior Data and Reporting Manager, you will bring:
- Expert knowledge of data governance, including frameworks for ownership models, stewardship, data definitions, authoritative sources, and quality management.
- Strong understanding of data across the higher education (HE) student lifecycle and external regulatory reporting requirements.
- Advanced expertise in data architecture, modelling, metadata management, and enterprise data standards.
- Extensive experience in leading the development, governance, and enhancement of data and reporting systems in large, complex organisations.
- Proven track record of developing data dictionaries, business glossaries, metadata standards, or definitional frameworks.
- Demonstrated success in delivering high-quality regulatory and statutory reporting outcomes with strong audit compliance and accountability.
