IT Services
IT Services at UEL is a centralized unit that collaborates with the University community to enhance UEL’s digital landscape, aligning with the University’s Vision 2028 strategy. We engage in groundbreaking projects within a rapidly evolving cloud environment, working closely with staff, students, partners, and other stakeholders to identify technological advancements that improve both learning and working settings. Our team implements, develops, and supports the systems and services found within the university’s IT Service Portfolio.

About the Job
We seek a diligent and analytical individual who is passionate about technology to further develop and maintain Microsoft solutions within UEL’s End User Computing (EUC) environment. This role will provide technical leadership in Microsoft Modern Desktop technologies, enhance user experiences, and ensure UEL remains at the forefront of emerging EUC technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement new EUC solutions to deliver applications optimally to users
  • Possess deep understanding of Microsoft Windows Desktop offerings, including platform migration and management best practices
  • Stay updated on emerging technologies and apply them to UEL’s processes and solutions
  • Ensure current solutions are effective, meeting expectations, and maintained according to best practices
  • Lead customer solution engagements, translating business needs into technical solutions
  • Act as a subject matter expert in EUC solutions, engaging in stakeholder meetings and maintaining strong EUC relationships across the university

About You
We are in search of a versatile individual with a methodical approach, genuine interest in EUC technologies, and a desire to shape key technologies that support thousands of staff and students. You must be able to identify inefficiencies and systematically address issues. Reporting to the EUC Team Manager, your role will be pivotal in influencing technical direction, solution development, and operational support for EUC solutions, contributing to our customer’s success.
